Seven new species and seven new records of Begonia L. (Begoniaceae) in the flora of Laos

New species of Begonia L. in the flora Laos presented this paper were mainly found course botanical surveys made Hin Nam No National Protected Area, Phouy Khammouane Karst Forest, and Phou Khao Khouay Area.Additionally, herbaria presently available (HNL, FOF, NUoL, FRC), living plants, alcohol preserved material at Pha Tad Ke Botanical Garden data accessible online BM, E, K, LE, NY, P, PE Herbaria critically studied. The study conducted during 2012–2019 reveals seven new for science newly recorded Lao PDR. Species described as are: B. glabritepala (found Province; it is most close to pierrei but differs glabrous outer tepals staminate flowers, pistillate capsules, petioles, peduncles pedicles), heterocantha Sainyabuli depingiana reddish purple, glandular pubescent abaxial leaf surface, pedicel, flowers sparsely white pubescent), lanxangensis Vientiane paleacea elongate tubers, ovate-lanceolate, obscurely asymmetrical symmetrical leaves, pedicels), parviglandulosa martabanica smaller habit, reniform-cordate leaves indumentum on peduncle, pedicle capsules), pseudobrandisiana brandisiana with five elliptic-oblanceolate tepals), tripartifolia tricuspidata palmate triangular-ovate, deeply lobed lacerate margin, flower tepals, ovary unequal wing), viriditenebris sinuata single leaf, bristle hairs or bronzy green adaxial three styles). following discovered first hatacoa (known Nepal, Bhutan, NE India, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam), hemsleyana (China, labordei (NE S China, longifolia (tropical zone from India Indonesia), minuscula (Vietnam), parvula (S China), subperfoliata (Myanmar, Vietnam).
